Unlike their previous, largely instrumental, albums Mordy's new CD is dominated by psychedelic, melodic songs which make the band's music accessible beyond the strict avantgarde context. The record's progressive forms are rooted in the 1960s as well as in the electro-punk of the New York scene and in the guitar-based experimental noise-jazz. In their cross-genre experiments Mordy endeavor to formulate their original, contemporary musical language.
